For 2012, our conference theme is "Changing the Game - with bioscience". We will focus on the pivotal role that bioscience plays in delivering New Zealand's future economic performance, by developing IP that adds value to our existing biological industries. We'll also be looking at how bioscience is revolutionising our approach to traditional sectors, such as replacing petroleum-derived ingredients with bio-based ingredients. Bioscience is changing the game in other areas too - from therapeutics to diagnostics we are seeing a convergence of IT and life sciences within with medical sector. Our 2012 programme will cover all aspects of the bioeconomy from agriculture (plant & animal biotechnologies), food and food ingredients and health (therapeutics, diagnostis & devices) applications through to industrial and environmental biotechnologies.
2012 sees some exciting changes to the conference including a new venue at the Langham. With our integrated format and flexible pricing we're also making it easier than ever before for you to hear about the global trends that affect your organisation, and network with leading names in the global life sciences sector. I look forward to seeing you in Auckland in March 2012.
